Ans. The Income Tax Man‘ is a short story written by Mark Twain, the great American writer, reviewer, thinker, and scholar during the Victorian period in English language and literature.
Mark Twain was a great writer of his period in the U.S.A. He had earned a lot in his life through his literary profession. Once, an assessor had visited him at this house all of a sudden, and the writer had welcomed him with jest.
It was the first acquaintance of the writer with the assessor. The writer wanted to leave a great impact on the assessor with his refined behavior and polished conversation. At first, the writer placed his high position ie ety due to his literary activities and sound earnings.
